Two of My Autumn Old Barn Paintings

Fixer-upper

Burning Autumn Leaves

Old barn and The Storm

even though you look so weary
I know that you are strong
for you have weathered many storms
through all these years, your whole life long

you give me strength to face
the storms that rage within my life
for at their end I'll still be standing strong
like you through good and strife

you have taught me well old friend
that life will always hand me stormy weather
but through the strength you've shown to me
we will fight these storms together~

  1. Ohh these are just amazing. I love how you lightly put in the smoke and then left it to our imagination on flames in the fire. Wonderful.

  8. that top one is my favorite of all your barns I think - it's the colors, the mood, the feeling i get when looking at it - ...I'm leaving today to go up higher on the mountain (ah love the feeling of that saying).... and when I get home it would be so fun to at least use the colors you used in this and try my sketchy version (because I could never do one like yours)...love it.

    1. Hi Sandy...have a wonderful time higher in your mountains :)
I think that's a wonderful idea for you to use these colors and do your sketched versions!!! I hope that you will post them so that I can see them! I know that you can do this because I have seen your artwork and you definitely can do what I did, if not better!!!
      Thank you Sandy :)
