All in Darkness

wilderness through a tangled maze
hidden beneath a canopy of green and misty haze
on the forest floor tangled webs are spun
all in darkness...without the sun

a jumbled woodland tossed here and there
seemingly by a giant hand, thrown about without care
here is a place where legends, too, are spun
all in darkness...without the sun

a woodland's spectral solitude
brings to one a haunted mood
an eerie place where ghostly tales are spun
all in darkness...without the sun~

(the above photo is a composite of my photos of our woods, an old abandoned house, and a country graveyard forgotten in a forest)

I will be visiting your blogs today as soon as I can...hugs~

My tablet does that all of the time. And along with my shaking hand I come up with some pretty weird words here and there :D

  7. I really enjoy this piece. It feels ghostly, and I thought at first I saw one in it. Then of course I didn't but I had to look at it for awhile. Great work. Hugs-Erika
